  1. General Information

Safari Roots provides eco-tourism experiences, safari assistance, cultural tours, homestays, local activities, and rental equipment in and around Tadoba & Chimur, Maharashtra.

All services are subject to availability, government rules, and forest department regulations.

  1. Booking & Payment

Bookings are confirmed only after full payment or advance payment (as applicable).

Safari bookings depend on Forest Department availability.

Prices may change during peak seasons or due to government fee revisions.

Additional charges may apply for last-minute bookings.

  1. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Safari Bookings

Safari bookings made through Forest Department portals are non-refundable, as per government rules.

Experiences & Activities

Cancellation 48 hours before the activity → 50% refund

Cancellation within 24 hours → No refund

Homestay Bookings

Cancellation 72 hours before check-in → Full refund

Within 72 hours → 50% refund

Within 24 hours → No refund

No refund is provided for no-shows.

  1. Changes & Modifications

Safari Roots may modify itineraries due to:

Weather conditions

Forest department closures

Wildlife sightings

Safety concerns

Operational issues

Alternative solutions will be provided whenever possible.

  1. Guest Responsibility

Guests must:

Follow guide instructions at all times

Respect wildlife guidelines and safety rules

Provide accurate personal information

Be physically fit for activities like cycling, walking tours, etc.

Not litter or damage natural surroundings

Respect local culture and communities

  1. Safety & Liability

Safari Roots is not responsible for injuries, accidents, wildlife incidents, or loss of belongings during activities.

All safaris are conducted as per forest department rules.

Guests participate at their own risk.

We take all precautions but cannot guarantee wildlife sightings.

  1. Homestay Terms

Check-in and check-out times may vary by host.

Guests must maintain cleanliness and respect home rules.

Damages to property must be compensated.

  1. Rentals Terms

Equipment must be returned in the same condition.

Charges apply for lost or damaged items.

  1. Intellectual Property

All website content (text, photos, branding) is owned by Safari Roots.
Unauthorized use is prohibited.

  1. Governing Law

All terms are governed by the laws of India.
Any disputes will be handled in local jurisdiction (Chimur / Chandrapur).
